Lab 37 Reflection
For this lab, I created a website that included a navigation bar that is sticky. This generally means that if you scroll down the page, the navigation bar should follow you and be on the page at all times. To make the navigation bar sticky, I initially created the navigation bar exploitation associate degree unordered list with list things containing every panel. This list was inside a tag that is labeled with an associate degree id known as "main". The CSS joined with it absolutely was titled with a black background and text that was white to go with my page colors. There wasn't that a lot of JavaScript concerned in creating this operate, however, it's price mentioning as a result of the feature wouldn't operate properly while not it. The JavaScript consisted of a question selector that got the info of the nav tag then updates the situation of the navbar to the highest of the page as you scroll to the lowest of the page. once you scroll up, the navigation bar gets fastened to the lowest. net designers will make navigation bars like this to create the users' lives easier in making an attempt to figure their approach around your page. as an example, say you create a writing web site and also the user is all the approach at the lowest of the page when reading a protracted essay. This sticky navigation bar would yield the user to be ready to translate to a different page from anyplace on the page rather than having to scroll all the approach keep a copy to "navigate the navigation bar."
